Help keep the food bowls full at Mimi’s shelter

Every month, Mimi has to find enough money to feed the animals at her shelter, as well as feeding as many abandoned and street animals as she possibly can.

Right now, October’s food bill is short by €500.

Mimi’s shelter is small and completely volunteer-run. There is no regular funding behind it, and the dogs cannot wait while she tries to find the money.

It costs around €250 every week to feed the animals at the shelter and provide food for the many street animals Mimi helps whenever she can.

That means this €500 shortfall covers two weeks of food for the dogs who depend on Mimi every single day.

These aren’t abstract numbers. They are meals in bowls for dogs who have already been abandoned, neglected or simply forgotten.

What your donation can provide

🐾 €5 helps provide around 10 meals

🐾 €10 helps towards a day’s food

🐾 €20 makes a real dent in the shortfall

🐾 €50 helps keep the bowls filled for longer

Our October target: €500

Could you make it a regular gift?

The €500 will help us get through the immediate shortfall, but the food bill doesn’t stop at the end of October.

Mimi needs to find around €250 every week, week after week.

If you are able to set up a small recurring donation, it would make an enormous difference. Even €5 a week adds up to around €260 a year, helping provide a much more reliable source of food for the dogs.

You can choose whatever works for you – weekly, monthly or another frequency available through the donation form.

Regular gifts are the easiest way for us to budget for food and give Mimi some certainty that there will be enough to fill the bowls next week too.

Or, if a recurring gift isn’t possible, a one-off donation is always hugely appreciated.

Whatever you can give will go directly towards buying food for the animals at the shelter and the abandoned and street animals Mimi is able to feed.

Thank you for helping make sure no dog at Mimi’s shelter goes hungry. ❤️
